The aim of this research is the determining strategy of technology transfer in the upstream oil industry (oil fields development) of the Islamic Republic of Iran with the use of effective conditional models of technology transfer. In this study, the views and attitudes of 30 managers and experts familiar with the issues of technology transfer, including transfer of technology in the development of the country's oil fieldsو have been investigated. In order to analyze the collected data, SPSS software and regression test and Friedman were used. The results of the analysis of data collected indicate among the factors the transfer of technology in the development of oil fields, transfer issue is a top priority which of the sub-criteria of scientific knowledge and physical technology have the most priorities. In evaluating technology in the enterprise, using high precision machinery and equipment have the highest percentage and use of planning techniques and coordination of production and copying equipment and parts required and also the possibility of design changes for optimum use of existing cases have the lowest level.
